Wright Brothers First Flight Site

When the Wright Brothers first flew, this was sandy rather
than grassy. The stone marker near
the left marks their take-off point (from a railing on the ground). The
marker near the right
is where the first flight ended. About 120 feet. They made three
additional flights that day
and went further with each. The last was 852 feet in 59 seconds.
